Adam Stein

Chief Executive Officer

Adam brings over 20 years of affordable housing experience to his work as founder of Liam Moor, a firm he established to advance his deep commitment to the preservation of affordable and workforce housing.

Prior to launching Liam Moor, Adam managed and oversaw a Capital Transactions team responsible for more than 2,000 transactions. Under his leadership, the team handled acquisitions, asset dispositions, investment strategy, asset resolutions and workouts, and refinancing for both company-owned assets and assets held by funds under management. His advice, counsel, and recommendations were trusted and routinely relied upon by senior management, accounting, asset management, investor reporting, and tax teams across the organization.

Adam initially entered the affordable housing space underwriting affordable housing bond debt, an early grounding that gave him a deep understanding of capital structure and credit fundamentals. He went on to spend many years in asset management, navigating complex debt workouts and restructurings during the 2007–2011 financial crisis and structuring bond financing for affordable housing communities. That blend of underwriting roots, transactional depth, and workout experience continues to inform his approach today, particularly when stewarding properties through challenging market cycles.

Adam holds a Master of Science in Real Estate with an emphasis in finance and investment from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with minors in Management and International Business from the University of Wyoming.

Outside the office, Adam's greatest joy is time spent with his wife and their four children. Whether he's coaching from the sidelines of a youth sports court, exploring the outdoors, catching a game, or traveling somewhere new as a family, Adam believes the same values that anchor his work — community, commitment, and the long view — start at home.
